We Love Parks!
Josephine Parks and Recreation Foundation
The Josephine Parks and Recreation Foundation was established to support all parks and recreational opportunities within Oregon's County of Josephine.
The Foundation helps to fund projects that directly benefit the residents of Josephine County. We believe that Parks plays a vital role in maintaining the quality of life in the community. They ensure the health of families and youth, as well as contribute to the economic and environmental well-being of the community.
The Tom Pearce Park Playground was closed on July 12, 2019 due to safety concerns. The wooden structure was installed in March 1990.
The Josephine County Parks Department is partnering with the Josephine Parks Foundation to raise funds for a new inclusive playground at Tom Pearce Park.
